  35. The Sportster Vi has apparantly been discontinued.  USR no longer has any
  36. information about it on their web site.  However if I remember correctly,
  37. that modem is based on a Rockwell chipset that offloads most of the work to
  38. the computer and only is supported by WINDOWS and SPECIFIC SOFTWARE at that.
  39. You might check the documentation, or if that doesn't tell you anything,
  40. look at the modem and see if there is a chip with a ROCKWELL name on it...
